ADA Compliance Lecture Video
Remaining on top of the latest trends and expectations regarding ADA Compliance is an important priority for Baylor University. Across the country, the population of students who have documented disabilities has grown steadily during the past ten years. This same trend has occurred at Baylor.
Toward the end of serving this population of students in all of the ways necessary, Provost Brickhouse and Dr. Wesley Null extended an opportunity for department chairs, deans, and other academic leaders to attend a lecture on Thursday, November 7, 2019. The guest speaker was Mr. Robert Duston, a legal scholar and partner with Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr in Washington, D.C. Mr. Duston serves as a litigator who helps numerous businesses, schools, and other entities as they seek to address ADA-related challenges, including investigations overseen by the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights. In his talk, Mr. Duston discusses ADA trends, best practices, and common challenges across the nation.
