Sammi Carbajal-Fichter

Sammi Carbajal-Fichter has been at Baylor since 2015. She has her Master of Social Work from Baylor University.

Accommodation Specialists work with students with documented disabilities to provide academic and physical accessibility for students with disabilities, promote independence and maximize academic potential. The Accommodation Specialists also provide a safe and confidential environment where students have an opportunity to talk about their individual concerns. With this support, students can explore their alternatives, improve coping skills and make informed decisions. When appropriate, a student may be referred to outside agencies.

Accommodation Specialists can also provide information in the areas of study skills, time management and test taking.
